Dolphins | Lamar Miller not top priority for Miami

Wed, 03 Feb 2016 16:29:46 -0800

Miami Dolphins impending free-agent RB Lamar Miller is not at the top of the Dolphins' priority list this offseason. Re-signing DE Olivier Vernon will be at the forefront of the Miami organization.

Fantasy Tip: The Dolphins may be fine with letting Miller test the free-agent waters, especially with a talented running back in Jay Ajayi ready to take over. If Miller doesn't receive a deal he likes from another team, he could return to Miami, but he has been embarrassingly underutilized there so far in his career. Of course, that could change under new head coach Adam Gase. We'll see.

Dolphins | Some believe Dion Jordan could play linebacker

Sun, 09 Feb 2014 08:43:39 -0800

Some inside the Miami Dolphins organization believe that DE Dion Jordan could be more effective at linebacker. "When we drafted Jordan, nobody expected Olivier Vernon to develop like he did," a Dolphins source said. "My concern is [Jordan] will have struggles playing against bigger tackles. If you play him at linebacker, he has far more range and speed and explosiveness than Misi. But Koa is more consistent and steady. Jordan gives you great flexibility because he can cover and rush the passer. This is a huge offseason for him."
