Sun, 27 Jan 2013 18:09:11 -0800 Minnesota Vikings C John Sullivan (ankle) signed a five-year, $25.1 million contract extension in December 2011, and he erased any doubt in 2012 when he ascended among the NFL's elite centers. He played all 1,097 snaps despite battling an ankle injury which hampered him early in the season. He developed into a leader, and just missed out on a Pro Bowl selection and a $500,000 escalator as a result. Sullivan and OT Matt Kalil are expected to be fixtures for many years to come.
