Chicago White Sox OF Adam Eaton went 4-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and a run scored in a 12-1 win over the Kansas City Royals Friday, Sept. 4.

Fantasy Tip: Eaton ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) has been up and down this season, but with eight RBI and seven runs scored in his last eight games, he is worth using at FantasyScore until he cools off again.

White Sox | Adam Eaton sitting vs. Twins

Wed, 02 Sep 2015 14:10:52 -0700

Chicago White Sox OF Adam Eaton is not in the starting lineup Wednesday, Sept. 2. OF Trayce Thompson is starting in center field and batting fifth against Minnesota Twins SP Tommy Milone Wednesday.

Fantasy Tip: While it is a small sample size, Thompson ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has been a beast this season, and especially against lefties. Through 26 plate appearances, he has a .480/.500/.920 slash line against southpaws and is a great FantasyScore play at his cap hit.

White Sox | Adam LaRoche out again

Wed, 12 Aug 2015 15:47:35 -0700

Chicago White Sox 1B Adam LaRoche is out of the lineup for the second straight day against Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim left-handed SP Andrew Heaney Wednesday, Aug. 12. OF Adam Eaton is serving as the designated hitter, while OF Trayce Thompson is starting in center field and hitting seventh.

Fantasy Tip: Thompson ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has a nice mix of speed and power, and he even homered in his start last night. However, he remains a deep sleeper at a cheap cost on FantasyScore against Heaney, who has really impressed in his stint with the Halos so far.

Sun, 09 Aug 2015 08:41:11 -0700

Chicago White Sox 1B Adam LaRoche is not in the starting lineup against Kansas City Royals SP Danny Duffy Sunday, Aug. 9. OF Adam Eaton will serve as the designated hitter and is batting first in the lineup, while OF Trayce Thompson will start in center field and is batting sixth.

Fantasy Tip: LaRoche ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) likely is sitting out because the team is facing a left-handed pitcher. Thompson ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has gone 2-for-3 since being recalled from the team but may not be a fantasy option at this point.

White Sox | Adam Eaton resting shoulder

Sun, 26 Jul 2015 08:16:07 -0700

Updating a previous report, Chicago White Sox OF Adam Eaton (shoulder) hurt his left shoulder diving to make a catch Saturday, July 25, according to manager Robin Ventura. Ventura noted Eaton is available to pinch hit and expected to play Monday, July 27, though.

Fantasy Tip: Seasonal owners will want to keep a closer eye on Eaton next week. Sometimes injuries linger and can impact production, and there is always the possibility of aggravation. It likely will have no fantasy impact, though.
