Eddie Rosario Fantasy Baseball News, Notes, Rumors and Statistics
The latest Eddie Rosario MLB and fantasy baseball news
Wed, 08 May 2013 15:37:23 -0700 Minnesota Twins 3B Miguel Sano (elbow) and 2B Eddie Rosario (leg) were both out of action for Single-A Fort Myers Wednesday, May 8. Sano was hit on the left elbow by a pitch earlier this week and Rosario is dealing with a leg injury. "With the morning game, it made sense to give them today off," said Brad Steil, the Twins director of minor leagues. "Sano will probably be in there tomorrow and Rosario in a couple of days." Sano is hitting .387 with 10 home runs and 31 RBIs in 30 games. Fantasy Tip: Sano is the future at third base for the organization, but he's unlikely to make it up to the majors for another year or two. When he does, he should immediately become an option in all fantasy baseball formats.
Thu, 17 Jan 2013 15:16:35 -0800 Minnesota Twins 2B Eddie Rosario and P Orlando Berrios are both playing for Puerto Rico in the 2013 World Baseball Classic.
Wed, 13 Jun 2012 19:16:58 -0700 Minnesota Twins prospect OF Eddie Rosario (facial) was struck in the face by a line drive during batting practice with Class A Beloit (Wisc.). General manager Terry Ryan said Rosario will have surgery Tuesday, June 19, to have a metal plate inserted into his upper lip. Rosario is expected to be sidelined six weeks.
