Boston Red Sox OF Shane Victorino (undisclosed) could be headed back to the disabled list soon. He will "miss a little time," according to general manager Ben Cherington. OF Yoenis Cespedes will play right field and OF Allen Craig will be in left.
Fantasy Tip: Victorino just can't seem to stay healthy as he ages. Don't feel the need to hang onto him in standard leagues if he goes back on the DL. Jackie Bradley Jr. seems safe, for now.

Boston Red Sox SS Stephen Drew and OF Jackie Bradley Jr. are both sitting out Wednesday, July 2, with the team facing a left-handed pitcher. OF Mookie Betts is starting in center and OF Jonny Gomes is in left. SS Jonathan Herrera is at shortstop.
Fantasy Tip: Make sure Drew and Bradley are out of your lineups.

Boston Red Sox SS Xander Bogaerts is back in the starting lineup Monday, June 30. OF Mookie Betts will make his second major league start in center field as OF Jackie Bradley Jr. sits.
Fantasy Tip: You may want to think twice about returning Bogaerts back to your starting lineup, though, until he shows signs of breaking out of his current slump.

Boston Red Sox OF Jackie Bradley Jr. remains the club's center fielder of the present and future, according to general manager Ben Cherington.
Fantasy Tip: Should Bradley be in your mixed lineup? Not so much. He's worth a stash in deep formats and, of course, will remain relevant in AL-only games. Of course, for the future, maybe Mookie Betts replaces JBJ.

Boston Red Sox OF Jackie Bradley Jr., who has struck out in 10 of his last 14 at-bats, has been working on a different setup with his hand placement on the bat recently in batting practice.

Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell said the club views OF Grady Sizemore as a better fit for a corner outfield spot than in center field. Sizemore, however, isn't as comfortable in left or right field as he is in center yet.
Fantasy Tip: Jackie Bradley Jr. is a much better option in terms of defense and range. Sizemore's brittle past and more advanced age play into this thinking; there's a chance this may affect Sizemore's PT as the year goes on, but even after Shane Victorino (hamstring) returns, he'll remain at least a semi-regular part of this lineup, especially following Daniel Nava's demotion.
Wed, 23 Apr 2014 11:00:40 -0700
Boston Red Sox OF Grady Sizemore is hitless in his last 13 at-bats to drop his average to .213. He has just one extra-base hit in his last 11 games, in which he's hitting .128 (5-for-39). OF Jackie Bradley Jr. is hitting .229 and has struck out once every three at-bats this year. OF Jonny Gomes is hitting .213 and has 19 strikeouts in 47 at-bats. OF Mike Carp is hitting .250 in 24 at-bats.
Fantasy Tip: With Shane Victorino (hamstring) set to return this week, expect John Farrell to use the extra body as a way to mix and match his outfielders in order to give them some rest. Bradley and Sizemore figure to remain as regulars, but their playing time may fluctuate more frequently when Victorino is back.
