The wound on his thumb has worsened after he had stitches removed Monday, Aug. 15. "If that doesn't go really well Saturday, then we're not going to try to pitch him Monday," manager Ron Roenicke said. Ps Wily Peralta, Michael Fliers and Frankie De La Cruz are all options to fill in Monday, Aug. 22, if Narveson can't go.
