The Detroit Tigers released P David Pauley Monday, March 12. The team also assigned Cs Rob Brantly, Curt Casali, Patrick Leyland and James McCann, INFs Nick Castellanos and Hernan Perez and OFs Justin Henry and Avisail Garcia to minor league camp. Garcia will be shipped to Double-A Erie and Perez will move to Single-A Lakeland.

Detroit Tigers 3B Nick Castellanos and C James McCann were spotted at the team's spring facility clubhouse Sunday, Feb. 19, ahead of the official reporting date for their positions.
