Brewers | Jorge Lopez impressive in debut

Wed, 30 Sep 2015 00:37:40 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers SP Jorge Lopez won his first major league decision Tuesday, Sept. 29, as he allowed three runs and eight hits in five innings, struck out seven and walked two in a 4-3 win over the San Diego Padres.

Fantasy Tip: Lopez is too new to have FantasyScore value since he was just selected from Class AA Biloxi a week ago. Keep an eye on him for 2016, as he could be a deep sleeper suspect heading into the season if he makes the starting rotation.

Brewers | Jorge Lopez pegged for debut next week

Wed, 23 Sep 2015 15:56:58 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers SP Jorge Lopez will make his major league debut against the San Diego Padres Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Lopez owns a 2.26 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 8.6 K/9 through 24 starts with Class AA Biloxi this season, but toeing the rubber against big league bats is a step up in competition, to say the least. View Lopez as a desperation start in all fantasy formats Tuesday, including at FantasyScore.
