San Francisco 49ers RB DuJuan Harris saw extended reps in the offseason, and he and RB Kelvin Taylor will be looking to move up the depth chart. Currently Harris and Taylor are behind RBs Carlos Hyde and Shaun Draughn in the pecking order.
Fantasy Tip: Harris and Taylor might be worth keeping an eye on this season, as Hyde hasn't been able to stay healthy and Draughn has bounced around the league. Right now Harris and Taylor can be avoided in most fantasy leagues, but remember their names.
Sun, 03 Jan 2016 19:48:40 -0800
San Francisco 49ers RB DuJuan Harris had 16 carries for 67 yards and eight catches for 86 yards in a 19-16 win over the St. Louis Rams in Week 17.
Fantasy Tip: Harris has impressed in two games since joining the 49ers, but it is too soon to tell what his role might be next year when Carlos Hyde and other backs are healthy.
Sun, 27 Dec 2015 18:01:17 -0800
San Francisco 49ers RB DuJuan Harris had 11 carries for a career-high 73 yards and one catch for 11 yards in a 32-17 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 16.
Fantasy Tip: Harris was the next man up in San Francisco's banged-up backfield, and he responded with a career performance. He will likely shoulder the load again in the season finale, but he draws a tougher matchup against the St. Louis Rams.
Tue, 22 Dec 2015 12:32:23 -0800
San Francisco 49ers RB Travaris Cadet was released Tuesday, Dec. 22, and Baltimore Ravens RB DuJuan Harris was signed from Baltimore's practice squad. RB Mike Davis (hand) was cleared to begin practice, but he is not eligible to play this week.

Tue, 15 Dec 2015 14:28:52 -0800
Seattle Seahawks RB DuJuan Harris was released Tuesday, Dec. 15, according to a source.
Fantasy Tip: This is somewhat of a puzzling move just two days after Harris took over as the Seahawks' starting running back in place of Thomas Rawls. With Harris now gone, it seems Bryce Brown now takes over the starting running back reins in Seattle, although Fred Jackson should still see his fair share of playing time, particularly in the passing game. Don't put a lot of stock into Brown, but he's definitely worth a pickup if you need a running back.
Mon, 14 Dec 2015 15:36:24 -0800
Seattle Seahawks RB Fred Jackson will continue to be the team's third-down back, according to head coach Pete Carroll. RBs DuJuan Harris and Bryce Brown are candidates to fill RB Thomas Rawls' (ankle) role in the running game.
Fantasy Tip: Jackson probably will continue to see limited playing time and should still be involved in the passing game. Harris is probably the most attractive option for fantasy owners at this point and could be an option this week because of his favorable matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
Mon, 14 Dec 2015 10:54:46 -0800
Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (hernia) is at least a week or two away from returning to action after having sports hernia surgery last month. RBs DuJuan Harris and Fred Jackson will be the main ball carriers now with RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) out for the season. Harris is likely to receive the first crack at the starting duties.
Fantasy Tip: At this point in the fantasy playoffs, don't feel the need to hang onto Lynch if you have other roster needs. Harris should be your first target off the waiver wire if you owned Lynch or Rawls or both. But keep in mind Harris and Jackson could be frustrating flex plays in deeper leagues since the Seahawks have transitioned to more of a passing team with Beast Mode sidelined.
Sun, 13 Dec 2015 11:07:25 -0800
Seattle Seahawks RB DuJuan Harris took over starting running back duties in light of Thomas Rawls (ankle) being ruled out for the game with an ankle injury.
Fantasy Tip: It looks like Harris and Jackson will split rushing duties, but Harris received four of the first five carries of Seattle’s drive after Rawls’ injury. Again, Rawls’ status will need to be updated after the game and throughout the week, so stay tuned.

Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris (knee) is hopeful to return from an injury-plagued 2013 season. He suffered a ruptured right patellar tendon and missed the entire season. "DuJuan Harris looks like he's back at full strength," head coach Mike McCarthy said last month. "He's competing to play just like all the other guys."

Mon, 06 Jan 2014 18:11:00 -0800
Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris (knee) is hopeful of being part of a 1-2 running back punch with RB Eddie Lacy next season. He entered training camp as the team's starting running back, but a right knee injury sidelined him in the offseason, recurred in the preseason and landed him on season-ending Injured Reserve. He said at midseason that there was fluid on the knee and irritation of the patellar tendon, but no structural damage after surgery in August. He expects to be ready for the offseason program and organized team activities (OTAs) in the spring.
Wed, 28 Aug 2013 11:03:43 -0700
Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said RB DuJuan Harris (knee) was going to have a big role on offense this season as part of a tandem with RB Eddie Lacy before he was placed on Injured Reserve. "You have a vision, packages in place on how you're going to start the season. I'll just tell you this: DuJuan was a big part of particularly my individual focus for this season. Last week was really the first opportunity to play DuJuan and Eddie Lacy in a game as kind of a 1-2 type punch format, and that has now changed," McCarthy said.
Tue, 27 Aug 2013 10:42:24 -0700
Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris (knee) has been placed on Injured Reserve and will miss the 2013 season after a negative second opinion on his knee.
Fantasy Tip: Eddie Lacy is expected to step in to start and becomes a low-end RB2 with more realistic RB3 expectations. His value makes sense in Round 5 or so in your average setup. Fellow rookie Johnathan Franklin had a tough camp but now gets a chance to showcase his natural shiftiness as a fantasy flyer.
Mon, 26 Aug 2013 21:17:09 -0700
Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris (knee) missed his second consecutive practice Monday, Aug. 26, after suffering a setback with his knee injury in the team's latest preseason game. He is expected to get a second opinion on the injury.
Mon, 26 Aug 2013 12:21:03 -0700
Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said RB DuJuan Harris (knee) will get a second opinion on his injured knee. McCarthy said he is not sure if Harris will be able to play Week 1.
Fantasy Tip: Eddie Lacy appears to be the top choice to be the team's starting running back to open the season. Lacy should be considered a No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues this season. Harris should only be drafted as a handcuff to Lacy in deeper leagues.
Fri, 23 Aug 2013 20:40:40 -0700
Updating a previous report, the right knee injury suffered by Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris (knee) in the preseason game Friday, Aug. 23, against the Seattle Seahawks is not believed to be serious.
Fantasy Tip: Harris iced the knee, and was walking on the sideline without any issue. It is likely good news for RB Eddie Lacy, who appears to be the favorite to enter the regular season as the starting running back.
Fri, 23 Aug 2013 18:15:53 -0700
Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris (knee) left the preseason game Friday, Aug. 23, against the Seattle Seahawks, and he was icing his right knee on the sidelines.
Mon, 19 Aug 2013 21:15:43 -0700
Green Bay Packers RB James Starks fumbled in the preseason game against the St. Louis Rams over the weekend, and he was last in the rotation of running backs behind RBs DuJuan Harris, Eddie Lacy, Johnathan Franklin and Alex Green.
Mon, 19 Aug 2013 05:10:03 -0700
Green Bay Packers RB Johnathan Franklin hasn't been impressive thus far in training camp. "He looks like his numbers," a personnel man said. "He's not a real impressive guy. He plays small, and he doesn't play fast. I kind of liked him in college because he was so productive. But if you didn't know he was a draft pick, you'd think he was a free agent."
Fantasy Tip: DuJuan Harris is listed as the team's starter on the depth chart in the preseason, but Eddie Lacy still figures to be the main man in the team's backfield to open the season. Franklin's stock is dropping behind the other two backs and probably isn't worth a draft pick at this point unless you're in a very deep league.
Fri, 16 Aug 2013 18:58:45 -0700
Green Bay Packers RBs DuJuan Harris (knee) and Eddie Lacy (hamstring) have returned to work as limited participants of the team portion of practice this week, after being restricted to just individual drills earlier in the week.
Wed, 14 Aug 2013 09:19:26 -0700
When healthy, Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris (knee) is a player considered to be almost as good of a pass blocker as a rusher. That will help his bid for a spot on the 53-man roster.
Mon, 12 Aug 2013 11:05:26 -0700
Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris (knee) has been activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list and participated in practice Monday, Aug. 12.
Fri, 09 Aug 2013 20:22:09 -0700
Green Bay Packers RB James Starks led the team with 38 rushing yards on 12 carries in the preseason game Friday, Aug. 9, against the Arizona Cardinals. RB Alex Green checked in with seven carries for 16 yards, while RB Johnathan Franklin posted six scampers for 14 yards. RB Eddie Lacy (hamstring) did not play due to a hamstring injury, and RB DuJuan Harris (knee) was absent due to a knee.
Fantasy Tip: None of the RBs stood out, and the backfield remains a jumbled mess heading into the second preseason game. DuJuan Harris and Eddie Lacy are also in the mix, and he is expected to be the team's starter. However, there are questions whether Lacy could handle the every-down duties without frequent breathers.
Thu, 08 Aug 2013 11:38:23 -0700
Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said he is looking forward to seeing RB DuJuan Harris (knee) practice because he considers Harris the team's starting running back. "I'm excited to see when DuJuan Harris comes back, because I view him as our starter," McCarthy said. "I want him to get back in there and earn it like he did all of last year. He made an impact in our offense." Harris is currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list and expected to miss another week or two.
Fantasy Tip: Harris is listed as the starter for now but there is a chance the order will change as the preseason goes on. This news does hurt Eddie Lacy's value some since he is not viewed as a starter. If Harris is able to keep the starting job entering the season, he probably would be a low-end No. 3 running back because Lacy could take the job at some point.
Mon, 05 Aug 2013 15:39:25 -0700
Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris is listed as the starting running back on the team's first depth chart.

Fri, 19 Jul 2013 16:07:39 -0700
Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris may not be a candidate for the starting running back job because he may is too small to be an every-down back.
Tue, 02 Jul 2013 15:26:05 -0700
Green Bay Packers RBs Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin are locks to make the roster. The rookies will be joined by some combination of Alex Green, DuJuan Harris (lung), James Starks and undrafted rookie Angelo Pease. Green and Starks have received first-team reps this offseason with the rookies studying the system and Harris sidelined.
Fantasy Tip: No back besides one of the rookies should be drafted in fantasy leagues. This will be a situation to watch during the season, but it looks like Franklin might be a better draft-day value than Lacy in what should be a shared backfield that already has to work on its running game plan.
Sun, 16 Jun 2013 20:41:44 -0700
Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris (lung) vows to be ready for the first day of training camp July 26. He had a "grapefruit"-sized, non-cancerous cyst removed from his lung. "I'll be ready," Harris said over the weekend. "I'll be there."
Fantasy Tip: Harris has plenty of competition for carries during training camp and the preseason, as he will be battling Alex Green, James Starks and rookies Johnathan Franklin and Eddie Lacy for touches.
Wed, 05 Jun 2013 12:40:04 -0700
Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said RB DuJuan Harris (lung) will not participate in any of the remaining offseason workouts but is expected to be ready for training camp. Harris said on his Twitter page that he had a cyst removed from one of his lungs.
Wed, 20 Mar 2013 14:24:14 -0700
Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said RB DuJuan Harris will get the chance to compete for the starting job next season. McCarthy said he would like to use only two running backs next season and not five running backs like he did in 2012.
Fantasy Tip: Harris performed well when he joined the Packers near the end of the season, averaging 4.6 yards per carry during the regular season. The Packers could still look to add another running back this offseason, which makes Harris' value a question mark at this point. The team does not run the ball a lot, so Harris should be seen as a No. 4 running back until his role on offense becomes clearer.
Fri, 18 Jan 2013 10:17:55 -0800
The Green Bay Packers feel the need to find a lead back heading into the 2013 season, and that man may not be on the current roster. The Packers shuffled through as many as six running backs this season and weren't satisfied with any of their options. Among the unrestricted free agents they could target this offseason include St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson, Miami Dolphins RB Reggie Bush, Dallas Cowboys RB Felix Jones and New York Jets RB Shonn Greene. Green Bay would likely be interested in Jackson in the secondary market because he'll be 30 this year.
The Packers had some success using RBs DuJuan Harris, Alex Green and James Starks, but only enough to occasionally draw an opponent's safety into the box. "If you're running the ball and they're closing the middle of the field and bringing an extra guy down, it obviously plays to our strengths as a pass group," running backs coach Alex Van Pelt said. "There were times when I thought we forced their hand and they had to stop it, but we'd obviously like to be more consistent and more productive from start to finish." Harris has plenty of potential, but his lack of size led him to wear down at the end. Green Bay is unlikely to take another chance with RB Cedric Benson and the team might not be willing to pay Starks $1.323 million given his injury history.
Fri, 11 Jan 2013 15:49:11 -0800
Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green, Ryan Grant, James Starks and DuJuan Harris combined for only 25 catches during the regular season. RB Cedric Benson (foot) caught 14 passes and was on pace for 44 catches this season before he was placed on Injured Reserve.
Fri, 11 Jan 2013 15:48:13 -0800
Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris caught five passes for 53 yards in the Wild Card playoff game after catching only two passes in the regular season. The Packers did not use Harris as a receiver at first because they were not comfortable having him in the backfield protecting QB Aaron Rodgers. The coaches are more comfortable with Harris in the role and he has been on the field for more passing plays over the last three games than any other running back except for FB John Kuhn.
Sun, 06 Jan 2013 18:44:09 -0800
Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said Sunday, Jan. 6, that RB DuJuan Harris has "something to do with" the team's growing focus on the run game.
Wed, 02 Jan 2013 14:13:56 -0800
Green Bay Packers running backs coach Alex Van Pelt said RB DuJuan Harris practiced without sleeves Wednesday, Jan. 2, to try and get comfortable playing in cold weather. Van Pelt said ball security could be a factor in the cold weather but Harris has big hands for his size which should help in that area. RB Ryan Grant could receive more carries in the Wild Card playoff game because he has played in cold weather playoff games before. Van Pelt said RB Alex Green will be available to the coaches whenever they need him to play.
