The AP reports new Arizona Cardinals coach Dave McGinnis promised changes for the team, starting with the coaching staff. "There's going to be changes made, and some of these changes are going to come fast and furious," McGinnis said. He went on to say the fans would need a program to recognize the team next season. McGinnis would not mention any names, but heading the list of those not likely to return is offensive coordinator Marc Trestman. Among the possible replacements, San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Geep Chryst, who was Arizona's quarterbacks coach in Jake Plummer's best season. McGinnis remains solidly behind Plummer, despite his struggles. He said the team also needs an outside linebacker to start alongside Ronald McKinnon and Rob Frederickson. The secondary could be a problem, too, especially if CB Aeneas Williams chooses to retire or sign with another team.
