Texas Rangers OFs Ronald Guzman and Nomar Mazara were among 20 of the team's top minor league prospects taking part in an early minicamp.

Rangers | Two Dominican Republic players sign

The Texas Rangers have signed OF Nomar Mazara and OF Ronald Guzman, who reside in the Dominican Republic. Mazara, who is 16, has a $5 million signing bonus while Guzman's is closer to $3.5 million. The team would not confirm the signings. General manager Jon Daniels said signings are not confirmed until players sign contracts and pass physicals.
