The Toronto Blue Jays have sent RP Tyson Brummett outright to Triple-A Buffalo.

The Toronto Blue Jays claimed RP David Herndon off waivers from the Philadelphia Phillies Tuesday, Oct. 23. P Tyson Brummett was released in a corresponding move. Herndon went 0-1 with a 4.70 ERA in five games with the Phillies this year. He had Tommy John surgery in June and is expected to return around midseason next year.

The Toronto Blue Jays claimed P Tyson Brummett off waivers from the Philadelphia Phillies Thursday, Oct. 18. Brummett was 5-6 with a 3.20 ERA with two saves between Double-A Reading and Triple-A Lehigh Valley this year. He struck out 83 hitters and walked 29 in 90 total innings.

The Philadelphia Phillies have selected the contract of P Tyson Brummett from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. He will join the club in Washington Monday, Oct. 1. In a corresponding move, C Brian Schneider (hamstring, ankle) has been transferred from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.

Philadelphia Phillies minor league P Tyron Brummett has been promoted from Double-A Reading to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, while P Joe Esposito has been promoted from Class A Clearwater to Reading.
