The Texas Rangers signed P Kevin Matthews, the No. 33 overall pick, and OF Zach Cone, the No. 37 overall pick, to deals Friday, June 17. Matthews will receive a $936,000 bonus and will report to the Arizona Summer League. Cone will receive an $873,000 bonus and will head to Single-A Spokane.
