The Texas Rangers signed 11 players to one-year deals Monday, Feb. 18. The players were P Wilmer Font ($491,000), INF Leury Garcia ($490,000), P Roman Mendez ($490,000), 1B Mitch Moreland ($502,700), SP Alexi Ogando ($506,600), P Joe Ortiz ($490,000), SP Martin Perez ($492,000), SS Jurickson Profar ($491,000), RP Tanner Scheppers ($493,600), P Matt West ($490,000) and P Coty Woods ($490,000).

Texas Rangers SS Jurickson Profar was named the franchise's Minor League Player of the Month for May. P Joseph Wieland was named the Pitcher of the Month, while OF Ryan Strausborger was named Defender of the Month. RP Joe Ortiz was given the Reliever of the Month award.
