Michael Waltrip Racing | Crew chiefs suspended

Michael Waltrip Racing car Nos. 00, 47 and 56 all had their crew chiefs suspended by NASCAR Tuesday, Oct. 25, due to rule infractions during the Sprint Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway. Rodney Childers (No. 00), Frank Kerr (No. 47) and Chad Johnston (No. 56) were each fined $50,000 and have been suspended for the next four races.

Michael Waltrip Racing crew chief Pat Tryson is being replaced as the crew chief for driver Martin Truex Jr. beginning this weekend at Pocono Raceway. Chad Johnston will be the replacement crew chief.
