Houston Astros 2B Jose Altuve is 16-for-34 (.471 batting average) over his last seven games.
Fantasy Tip: Altuve ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) is proving why he was a top pick in fantasy drafts this spring, and he is also an excellent FantasyScore option, while he is living on base. Don't expect more than the odd tally in the home run column, but he moves the needle significantly in the other four categories.

Houston Astros 2B Jose Altuve is 10-for-25 against Seattle Mariners SP Hisashi Iwakuma. Iwakuma will start against Houston Monday, April 20.
Fantasy Tip: While batter vs. pitcher statistics shouldn't be viewed as guaranteed predictors of success, it is worth noting Altuve ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) has performed well against Iwakuma. However, Altuve also carries a hefty salary at FantasyScore, so you'll have to budget accordingly to fit him into your lineup.

Houston Astros 2B Jose Altuve had 10 hits in his first 21 at-bats on the team's homestand.
Fantasy Tip: Altuve ($6,000, 12% of cap) got off to a dismal start at the plate, but he has been warming up as of late. No one should have been upset, because a lot of bats take time to get going in April. Keep playing Altuve in your lineup.
