The Baltimore Orioles have promoted SP Dylan Bundy to high Single-A Frederick. In seven starts for Single-A Delmarva, Bundy allowed one run in 30 innings while giving up only five hits with 30 strikeouts and two walks.

Baltimore Orioles SP Dylan Bundy's hitless streak of facing 39 hitters without allowing a hit came to an end Monday, April 30, when he allowed a first-inning single. He tossed four scoreless innings to extend his shutout streak to 17 innings this year. Bundy has 25 strikeouts and just two walks, and opponents are batting .020 (1-for-50) against him.

Baltimore Orioles SP Dylan Bundy made his professional debut in the fifth inning of the spring game Tuesday, March 6, against the Boston Red Sox. He was the fourth overall pick in the 2011 draft. "Obviously, every pitcher wants to face the best. That's how any pitcher gets better, facing the best," Bundy said. The youngster said C Taylor Teagarden calmed him down after a four-pitch walk to 2B Dustin Pedroia.

Baltimore Orioles P Dylan Bundy looked good while throwing a bullpen session Wednesday, Feb. 22, in which he threw his four-seam fastball, two-seamer, cutter, changeup and curveball. "I thought his mound presence was pretty impressive for a 19-year-old kid. He had command of all his pitches and knew exactly what he was doing with them, both sides of the plate. You don't really see that from a 19-year-old. He's real polished as a pitcher right now. It's pretty impressive to see," executive Dan Duquette said.
