Hultzen is 2-1 with a 2.70 ERA in 16 1/3 innings pitched with Triple-A Tacoma this year, and he's struck out 20 and walked only four. It's encouraging, since he had some bad command problems after being called up to Tacoma last year. Fantasy Tip: Hultzen is one of the team's top pitching prospects, next to Taijuan Walker, but Hultzen is more polished. He's already made great strides in his approach and with his command, which are good signs for those that already own him in keeper leagues. Keep him on your watch list in all other leagues, and he's probably worth a roster spot in deep AL-leagues already if you have the room. Unfortunately, this isn't promising for Erasmo Ramirez hopefuls.

Fantasy Tip: Hultzen and Paxton are two of the club's finer young arms, but Hultzen's ceiling is much higher. Of the two, Hultzen has a better chance of making an impact in the Mariners' rotation this season.
