Oakland Raiders rookie TEs Nick Kasa and Mychal Rivera have a chance to make an impact right away, as the team lost TE Brandon Myers (Giants) during the offseason, and have just TEs David Ausberry and Richard Gordon have experience at the position.
Fantasy Tip: Kasa and Rivera, a pair of sixth-round draft picks, will be battling each other, and Ausberry and Gordon, for targets during training camp and the preseason. It is conceivable one or both rookies could emerge as a starter.

The Oakland Raiders management do not view backup TEs David Ausberry and Richard Gordon as starting material, so the team is expected to pursue a free-agent replacement to serve as starter.

Oakland Raiders TE David Ausberry (knee), OT Khalif Barnes (triceps), LB Miles Burris (knee), DE Jack Crawford (toe) and WR Juron Criner (hip) are probable for Week 17. Crawford and Criner practiced in full Friday, Dec. 28, while the others were limited.

Oakland Raiders TEs David Ausberry and Richard Gordon each played just one offensive snap in Week 14, as they have obviously fallen well behind TE Brandon Myers on the depth chart. "We've had a chance to look at these guys a little bit," head coach Dennis Allen said. "We kind of know what we've got in these guys. They're still in the lineup, and they'll still be used pretty much the same way we've used them." That means plenty of special teams work for Ausberry and Gordon.

Seymour and Janikowski were limited during practice Friday, Oct. 12, while the other four fully participated.
