The Oakland Raiders could consider cutting LB Travis Goethel and OT Willie Smith for savings against the cap in 2013. Neither is going to break the bank, the Raiders are struggling to get under the cap and have tough decisions to make. Cutting Goethel would save $575,000, while cutting Smith would create $550,000 in space. Smith is a zone-blocking guy, and the team is expected to get away from that scheme.

S Matt Giordano (hamstring) and K Sebastian Janikowski (groin) were limited in practice and are probable.
