In the absence of Seattle Seahawks WRs Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin, a trio of receivers combined for a stellar day against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Nov. 10. WR's Golden Tate, Jermaine Kearse and Doug Baldwin combined for 14 catches, 257 yards and two touchdowns.

Seattle Seahawks WR Percy Harvin (hip) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 30, and remains day-to-day as for when the team will activate him from the Physically Unable to Perform list. "We want to make sure we don't go too far too fast," head coach Pete Carroll said. "We're looking for the long haul in his recovery. We want to make sure we manage our way through that. We're being very careful. He didn't do a whole lot last week. He did very little. It seems like it's best to keep him in that mode a little longer."
Fantasy Tip: As we've noted countless times, the Seahawks are being ultra-cautious with their most dynamic offensive weapon. They are in the position not to rush him back, either, facing the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend. Until he returns, expect Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin to receive more targets. Jermaine Kearse is an option in much deeper leagues.
Tue, 29 Oct 2013 14:36:14 -0700
Seattle Seahawks WR Sidney Rice (knee) has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, according to a source.
Fantasy Tip: This hasn't been confirmed yet, but if it's true, you can drop Rice in all formats. In the short term, Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin will see more looks until Percy Harvin (hip) is back in game action, which could be soon.
Sun, 06 Oct 2013 18:11:20 -0700
Seattle Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse had just one catch in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts, but it was good for a 28-yard highlight-reel touchdown. One of his teammates was really impressed with his maturation. "Kearse has always had the ability, but this year he's added the confidence that he knows he can play in the NFL," WR Doug Baldwin said Sunday, Oct. 6.
Sun, 28 Jul 2013 19:55:59 -0700
Several teams reportedly inquired about Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin once WR Percy Harvin (hip) signed during the offseason, but general manager John Schneider did not entertain those overtures, wanting as much depth as possible.
Fantasy Tip: Schneider's reluctance to part with Baldwin looks smart now that Percy Harvin (hip) faces an uncertain future. Baldwin is a possession receiver who can work in the slot. Baldwin is someone fantasy owners should look to as a WR4 or flex play, but nothing more.
Thu, 25 Jul 2013 12:48:17 -0700
Updating previous reports, Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said there is a possibility that WR Percy Harvin (hip) may need surgery on his injured hip. He is scheduled to get a second opinion on the injury.
Fantasy Tip: Harvin's status for start of the season is now in jeopardy with the possibility of surgery. Owners should drop Harvin significantly if he does need surgery and should not consider using a high pick on him regardless of if he needs surgery because of his injury history. Golden Tate, Sidney Rice and Doug Baldwin could see more targets if Harvin does need surgery.
Tue, 23 Jul 2013 08:59:28 -0700
Seattle Seahawks WRs Doug Baldwin, Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice and Golden Tate are expected to be the top four wide receivers. Unless an injury or two occurs, that leaves WRs Phil Bates, Arceto Clark, Chris Harper, Greg Herd Jermaine Kearse, Brett Swain, Justin Veltung, Bryan Walters and Stephen Williams to battle it out for the fifth, and perhaps sixth, receiver job(s). The team kept five receivers last season, but could elect to keep six. Walters reportedly had a strong offseason working in the slot.
Wed, 26 Jun 2013 19:16:42 -0700
Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin reportedly was a standout during organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp. He and rookie WR Chris Harper were impressive, but they are still behind WRs Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice and Golden Tate as far as the pecking order is concerned.
