Packers | Aaron Rodgers not afraid of Richard Sherman

Tue, 13 Jan 2015 13:26:32 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said he's not afraid to throw in the direction of Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman, despite not going Sherman's way once in the two teams' matchup in Week 1. "You have to be aware of him," Rodgers said. "Not scared of him, but you have a ton of respect for him." WR Jordy Nelson was kept opposite of Sherman in Week 1, and Sherman never switched sides of the field. Sherman wound up covering WRs Jarrett Boykin or Davante Adams.

Fantasy Tip: The bigger issue for Rodgers against the Seahawks this weekend will be the health of his left calf, which severely limited his mobility in the divisional round win. If Rodgers once again has trouble escaping the pocket, it could be a rough day for him against one of the best overall defenses in the league.

Sat, 22 Nov 2014 08:06:18 -0800

Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman could be an option at wide receiver in an emergency situation, according to head coach Pete Carroll. "He was a good receiver growing up and he has tremendous catching range and all that as we've witnessed in his defensive play, and he would love to do it. So he's ready. If we get in an emergency situation, he knows I'm coming to him," Carroll said.
