The San Diego Chargers waived WR Jason Barnes, WR Taylor Embree, WR Phillip Payne, DT Eddie Brown, LS Nick Guess, RB Michael X. Hayes, TE Brad Taylor and T Phillip Trautwein. The team also reached an injury settlement to waive OT Garrett Brown, released OT Michael Toudouze, placed OG Johnnie Troutman on the Reserve-Non-Football Injury list and OG Brandyn Dombrowski on the Reserve-Non-Football Illness list.

Baylor TE Brad Taylor measured in with a height of 6-foot-2 3/4, 241 pounds at his Pro Day Thursday, March 3, reports Gil Brandt, of NFL.com. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.81 seconds and the three-cone drill 7.67 seconds. He completed 14 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.
