Atlanta Falcons P Matt Bosher will be the punter this season after the team waived P Ken Parrish. Bosher will also handle the kickoff and holding duties during the season.

The battle for the Atlanta Falcons punting duties will come down to Ps Matt Bosher and Ken Parrish. "It will be a really good competition," special teams coordinator Keith Armstrong said. "We'll try to rotate them and control their reps. In the exhibition games, they will have to be warmed up in both halves."

Miami PK Matt Bosher was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the 192nd pick overall in the sixth round. He handled punts and kickoffs for the Miami Hurricanes. "I had been in touch with them before the draft," Bosher said. "I worked out for Coach (Keith) Armstrong/ It's always a crapshoot being a punter and a kicker with the draft."
