Browns | Like Jordan Cameron as starter

Tue, 21 May 2013 12:47:56 -0700

The Cleveland Browns really like TE Jordan Cameron as their starting tight end and have been targeting him a lot in organized team activities.

Fantasy Tip: Something to keep an eye on as training camps and preseason games get underway, is how the Browns tight end position plays out. If Cameron does win the starting job for his team, it would likely make him a solid TE2 in fantasy football.

Browns | Jordan Cameron not ready just yet

Wed, 17 Apr 2013 18:34:36 -0700

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron is expected to serve as the No. 1 tight end in head coach Rob Chudzinski's offense, and the position is very busy in the team's new scheme. "Well he's not ready right now, we are working through that with him," Chudzinski said Wednesday, April 17. "He is learning the offense obviously. This is an offense that has featured tight ends and tight ends have always been a big part of it. He has the skill set that fits and he has had a good couple days."

Fantasy Tip: Cameron has not yet reached his ceiling, but right now he is not considered someone who will be drafted even if fantasy leagues which require one starter at the tight end position. However, he might emerge as a useful fantasy option, especially when your primary option has a bye week or difficult matchup.

Browns | Jordan Cameron looking forward to opportunity

Sun, 14 Apr 2013 12:15:44 -0700

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron said he is looking forward to the opportunity to compete for the starting tight end job and playing in the team's new offense. "I know it's a big opportunity," Cameron said. "There's a lot of opportunities to make plays, and I just want to get out there, show what I can do, and showcase my athleticism. I've always been looking for this opportunity, and so far, getting to meet the coaches and some of the new guys has been good so far."

Fantasy Tip: Cameron appears to be the leading candidate to win the starting tight end job at this point. He likely will not be a No. 1 tight end next season but could have the chance to be a solid No. 2 tight end on fantasy teams.
