Free-agent WR Vidal Hazelton (Bengals) said on his Twitter page that he has signed a futures deal with the New York Jets. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Cincinnati Bengals WRs Andrew Hawkins, Vidal Hazelton, Justin Hilton, Kashif Moore, Taveon Rogers and Ryan Whalen will battle for a roster spot in training camp, but the position is very deep. Hazelton is considered likely to start the season on the practice squad. The difference between making the roster and a visit from the turk might be contributions on special teams.
