Wed, 15 May 2013 12:53:23 -0700 The Oakland Raiders agreed to terms with WR Joshua Cribbs (Browns) Wednesday, May 15. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Fantasy Tip: Cribbs will likely slot in nicely as a kick returner with the Raiders, and will compete behind Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford at wide receiver in 2013.
Sun, 23 Dec 2012 17:51:01 -0800 Oakland Raiders WR Darrius Heyward-Bey led the team in receiving in Week 16 against the Carolina Panthers, and he had just two grabs for 31 yards. The passing game struggled once QB Carson Palmer (ribs) went down early in the game and was replaced by QB Matt Leinart. WR Derek Hagan had one grab for 19 yards, WR Rod Streater had two snares for 16 yards and WR Denarius Moore was limited to three catches for 12 yards. Fantasy Tip: If Palmer is unable to go in Week 17, it appears Leinart would get the start against the San Diego Chargers. If so, none of the Oakland wide receivers are worth using for fantasy purposes in those leagues yet to decide their champion.
Sun, 16 Dec 2012 21:57:06 -0800 Oakland Raiders WR Rod Streater had five receptions for a game-high 62 yards in the Week 15 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. WR Denarius Moore added five catches for 46 yards, and just missed connecting a long play near the end zone in the second half.
Sat, 15 Dec 2012 06:06:52 -0800 Oakland Raiders WRs Darrius Heyward-Bey, Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford could potentially be trade bait in the offseason as general manager Reggie McKenzie looks to acquire additional draft picks and stockpile talent.
Fri, 14 Dec 2012 10:30:36 -0800 The Oakland Raiders could decide to shop WRs Darrius Heyward-Bey, Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford in order to obtain draft picks for next year's draft. WR Rod Streater appears to be safe as part of the solution and not the problem. WR Juron Criner won't be going anywhere, either. Streater is tied for sixth among rookie wide receivers this year with 28 catches and is sixth in yards with 429.
Thu, 06 Dec 2012 04:52:53 -0800 Oakland Raiders QB Carson Palmer has completed only four of 19 passes thrown in the direction of WR Denarius Moore over the past three games for 60 yards and one touchdown.
Mon, 03 Dec 2012 07:29:36 -0800 Oakland Raiders WR Denarius Moore was benched in the team's Week 13 game after multiple dropped passes. Moore and QB Carson Palmer have not been on the same page for most of the season. "Yeah, we took him out there at the end," head coach Dennis Allen said. "He dropped a couple balls and we have to make plays when we get those opportunities. Both those guys, they understand that. It wasn't from a lack of effort, but we've got to make the plays when we get an opportunity."
Sat, 24 Nov 2012 05:19:00 -0800 Oakland Raiders WR Denarius Moore leads the team's receivers with 35 receptions for 584 yards and five touchdowns this season; however, he also has five of the team's 22 dropped passes.
Sat, 24 Nov 2012 05:14:39 -0800 Oakland Raiders QB Carson Palmer has targeted WR Denarius Moore 25 times in their last three games and completed only nine of those passes for 165 yards and one touchdown. In Week 11, Palmer was just 1-for-7 for nine yards throwing to his top wideout. Moore often will cut outside while Palmer is throwing inside; however, head coach Dennis Allen doesn't think their chemistry is getting worse. "Obviously, there's been a couple situations where they haven't been exactly on the same page, but again, I feel like that's part of the process. We're continuing to work every day to make sure we are on the same page," Allen said.
Wed, 21 Nov 2012 17:57:21 -0800 Oakland Raiders WR Denarius Moore (hamstring) was able to practice on a limited basis Wednesday, Nov. 21.
