Oakland Raiders WRs Denarius Moore, Rod Streater, Andre Holmes and Greg Little are all expected to compete for the No. 2 wide receiver job during training camp.
Sat, 24 May 2014 20:39:28 -0700
Oakland Raiders WR Brice Butler might have seen his chances at cracking the 53-man roster placed in serious jeopardy when the team brought in WR Greg Little. The team is likely to keep six receivers, with WRs James Jones, Denarius Moore, Rod Streater, Andre Holmes and Little as the top five.
Fantasy Tip: Butler's biggest competition for the No. 5 receiver job, and a potential job, is Little and Noel Grigsby. Even if he would crack the 53-man, his fantasy value is still negligible.

The Oakland Raiders have claimed WR Greg Little off waivers from the Cleveland Browns, according to a source.
Sat, 17 May 2014 14:37:51 -0700

Fri, 16 May 2014 09:07:23 -0700
The Cleveland Browns released WR Greg Little Friday, May 16.
Fantasy Tip: Well, that's somewhat surprising ... The recent signings of veterans Earl Bennett and Miles Austin made the butter-fingered wideout expendable. This automatically improves the fantasy value for Austin and Bennett. The former is a huge injury risk but has some potential, while Bennett is a low-level PPR matchup play.
Fri, 09 May 2014 19:33:14 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Nate Burleson (arm) suffered a fractured arm during offseason workouts but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp. It is the same arm he injured during the 2013 season.
Fantasy Tip: It wouldn't be a surprise if Burleson is forced to sit out the 2014 season. With Josh Gordon facing a year-long ban, Greg Little figures to open the year as the No. 1 wideout, with Andrew Hawkins and Travis Benjamin picking up scraps. Little could be a decent WR3/4 if you're willing to take that leap of faith. Look for Cleveland to address their wide receiver needs in the draft or in free agency.
Fri, 09 May 2014 15:45:22 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is facing a year-long suspension after another failed drug test months ago for marijuana, according to sources. "That's something you're going to have to talk to (agent) Drew Rosenhaus about. I really don't know anything about it," Gordon said. Rosenhaus didn't comment, other to say the report was "not true." Gordon had drug-testing problems in college, as well, and was dismissed from Baylor after being suspended for marijuana use twice.
Fantasy Tip: Gordon has the right to appeal if this report is true. Gordon developed into an elite wideout last season after serving a two-game suspension, so this would be a huge blow to the Browns offense. Greg Little would effectively become their No. 1 receiver, with Nate Burleson and others filling in behind him. Expect Cleveland to address the position in the draft, as well.

Wed, 06 Nov 2013 20:39:29 -0800
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little claims he was choked by Baltimore Ravens SS James Ihedigbo in the team's Week 9 game, and that is why he ripped off Ihedigbo's helmet and threw it during an on-field altercation. "I know the ref was saying 'let go of his face mask,' but he was choking me, so I'm not (going to let go)," said Little. "There's a thin line between football and just morals and if you're a man, you're not going to let a guy spit in your face, and you're not going to let a guy choke you."

Fri, 18 Oct 2013 05:50:39 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little expressed disappointment in his performance this season. "My performance itself was a wake-up call," Little said. "Not being in the lineup was a wakening. I was just pushing myself, trying to do more than what was there, trying to hit a home run on every ball. (I need) to just hit a base hit and keep it moving."

Thu, 26 Sep 2013 07:09:46 -0700
The Cleveland Browns have fielded calls for WR Greg Little, but there isn't as much interest in him as WR Josh Gordon.
Tue, 24 Sep 2013 10:50:31 -0700
The Detroit Lions could look to trade for Cleveland Browns WRs Josh Gordon or Greg Little or Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt after WR Nate Burleson (arm) suffered a broken arm. The Browns have said that they aren't looking to deal Gordon or Little, though.
Fantasy Tip: This is pure speculation at this point. Gordon is highly unlikely to be dealt. Little and Britt make more sense, but Britt's dropped passes and attitude concerns make him a risky acquisition. Little and Britt would receive a value boost if they were given the chance to start over with a new squad.

Updating a previous item, Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski said the team has no plans to trade WR Greg Little this year.

Wed, 18 Sep 2013 08:01:35 -0700
The Cleveland Browns have demoted WR Greg Little and will start WRs Josh Gordon and Davone Bess in Week 3.
Fantasy Tip: Little mostly had value only in PPR leagues, and this will further hurt his value. Little had several drops this season and will have to work his way back up the depth chart.
Mon, 16 Sep 2013 13:22:51 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon returned to the team Monday, Sept. 16, following his two-game suspension for violating the league's substance and abuse policy.
Fantasy Tip: The values of Davone Bess and Greg Little will drop considerably. It remains to be seen if Gordon will be productive in Norv Turner's offense, but that'll mainly be decided by the play of Brandon Weeden and the offensive line.
Mon, 16 Sep 2013 09:45:49 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, change of course and driving with a suspended license Monday, Sept. 16. Little's car was towed away and he walked the rest of the way to his destination.
Sat, 14 Sep 2013 06:55:38 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little is spending extra time trying to get on the same page with QB Brandon Weeden. "I spent a lot more time watching film with Brandon and the quarterbacks and I think that's going to help us more,'' he said. "Usually we watch them as receivers, quarterbacks, but we've been watching them together. We'll kind of get what (the defense is) thinking and that way we'll all be on the same page."
Wed, 11 Sep 2013 06:14:08 -0700
Cleveland Browns WRs Greg Little and Josh Gordon pleaded no contest to traffic offenses in separate cases. Little was fined $472 for license plate and parking violations. Tue, 10 Sep 2013 12:20:32 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little dropped two of six catchable passes in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. "You know Greg has worked extremely hard on catching," said head coach Rob Chudzinski. "There's nobody who works harder. He's (working on) the JUGS machine and all those things. Couple of those were high, they were tough catches. I know Greg has set high standards for himself and he expects to catch those."
Fantasy Tip: This is a broken record so far in Little's career. He's a maddeningly frustrating fantasy football play until he can correct those issues. With Josh Gordon coming back in Week 3, too, Little remains a very unexciting fantasy play.
Wed, 04 Sep 2013 09:35:08 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Davone Bess will start opposite WR Greg Little in the regular season opener Sunday, Sept. 8, against the Miami Dolphins. He claims it will just be another game when he faces the team that traded him away. "Things happen," Bess said. "We all know how this business is. When I got traded, it was in the best interest of the Miami Dolphins. I'm a Cleveland Brown now. No grudges at all. I'm thankful to be here."
Fantasy Tip: Even as starters, Bess and Little are only worth looks as WR4s or flex fantasy players in leagues of 12 or more teams.
Wed, 21 Aug 2013 17:59:32 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little was stopped for going 81 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone Monday, Aug. 19, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department. It isn't the first time Little has run afoul of the traffic law, as he lost control of his car in April and hit a guardrail and knocked down a light pole. He was fined for that incident. Little is due in court Sept. 4 for his latest run-in.
Tue, 30 Jul 2013 17:07:19 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (knee) was scolded during practice Monday, July 29, for not finishing plays or running after the catch. Gordon is battling patellar tendinitis, and perhaps was favoring his leg. However, he also has reportedly been the last receiver into position drills, and he has yet to work with QB Brandon Weeden and QB Greg Little after practice, despite the fact that Little and Weeden have worked on routes after every single session so far.
Fantasy Tip: Gordon has shown he is more than capable at this level on Sundays, but fans, fantasy owners and perhaps even teammates would like to see a little more effort. He has the potential to be a star in this league if he hits his ceiling. It's early in his career, and he is still very young. Check out how far Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant has come from this point last season, just to compare.
Mon, 22 Jul 2013 20:57:13 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little traveled to Oklahoma earlier this month to spend three days working out and running routes with QB Brandon Weeden. "I worked with a big group of guys," Weeden said Monday, July 22. "Obviously, (WR Joshua Cooper) was out there. But it was good. It was good Greg came down. We got three really hard days of work. I threw until I couldn't throw anymore and he ran until he couldn't run anymore, so we got a lot of work in."
Fantasy Tip: It's good to see Little, who has been criticized by fans for his lack of maturity, showing a commitment to the team. Little has plenty of potential, but he has dropped way too many passes in his first two NFL seasons. He is worth a look as a WR4 or flex player for fantasy rosters, but don't rely upon him too heavily from the outset.
Sat, 13 Jul 2013 18:24:36 -0700
The Cleveland Browns are hoping for better production from WRs Josh Gordon, Greg Little and Travis Benjamin as well as TE Jordan Cameron this season.
Tue, 04 Jun 2013 16:34:09 -0700
The Cleveland Browns won't always have WRs Josh Gordon and Greg Little line up on the outside with Davone Bess in the slot. In early workouts, they've been shifting spots to keep defenses guessing; all have run routes from the inside and outside. Gordon made some of his most dynamic plays last year from the slot. David Nelson (knee) will also be incorporated into this rotation once healthy.
Fantasy Tip: Gordon is an alluring fantasy WR3 in Norv Turner's offense under head coach Rob Chudzinski, but preseason hype will probably make the second-year snare a pricey middle-rounds commodity. He might meet expectations, though, thanks to his deep prowess and Turner's history with big-play wideouts. Little, Bess and Nelson might cap each others' ceiling for production, but they all could serve as solid fantasy depth.
Wed, 29 May 2013 09:35:12 -0700
Cleveland Browns offensive players have raved about their first impression of OC Norv Turner's scheme. "Defenses will be shocked to say the least with how much we're running downfield,"WR Josh Gordon said. WR Greg Little said Turner "calls more post and go routes than I've ever run before."ESPN Stats and Information cites that the Browns threw the ball 10 yards or fewer downfield on 73.3 percent of their 2012 passes, and 20 yards or more on only 9 percent.
QB Brandon Weeden, not the confirmed starter but the presumed leader, is more comfortable out of the shotgun, not the timing-based, three-step-drop setup run by Pat Shurmur last year.
Fantasy Tip: The Air Coryell elements in Turner's vertical-based game give Gordon and Little some fantasy sleeper potential and should sustain Trent Richardson's RB1 stock. It's a stretch to say Weeden, if he gets the gig, will be anything more than a low-end No. 2 fantasy QB, but he could be useful in the right matchup plays for bye weeks. Keep an eye on the development of talented but unpolished TE Jordan Cameron, as well.
Tue, 28 May 2013 16:15:34 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little has been one of the team's most impressive players during minicamps. The coaching staff is excited about how Little has embraced their new offense and downfield passing attack.
Fantasy Tip: Little has a lot of potential and physical abilities, but his hands have been suspect in his NFL career. He led the Browns with six drops last year. Consider him a worthwhile WR5 in PPR leagues.
Mon, 11 Feb 2013 06:18:43 -0800
The Cleveland Browns could look to sign a veteran wide receiver in the offseason who can add speed to the outside, and a result be able to relegate WR Greg Little to the slot.

Tue, 13 Nov 2012 14:10:52 -0800
After meeting with former NBA star Alonzo Mourning during the team's bye week, Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little learned a lot about personal sacrifice and the value of commitment to the team's goal of winning. Little has vowed to ditch Twitter, and he hasn't tweeted since Sept. 22. He has 13 catches for 132 yards and a touchdown in the last three weeks.
Wed, 07 Nov 2012 18:12:38 -0800
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little has worked his way back into the good graces of head coach Pat Shurmur and the team's fan base by working hard."I was trying to do so much more than just being myself on the field; just trying to create much more than the play was designed for," Little said. Shurmur said Little has "refocused", and is having some success. He also said his improved blocking has not gone unnoticed.
Sun, 28 Oct 2012 14:03:30 -0700
Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon posted team-highs with three receptions and 46 yards in Week 8 against the San Diego Chargers. WR Greg Little chipped in with two receptions for 28 yards, while WR Joshua Cribbs managed one grab for seven yards.
Fri, 19 Oct 2012 13:52:51 -0700
Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden (foot), WR Josh Gordon (knee), WR Greg Little (illness), DE Frostee Rucker (shoulder, foot), LB Tank Carder (foot), FS T.J. Ward (hand), SS Ray Ventrone (hand, calf) and LS Christian Yount (shoulder) are listed as probable for Week 7. Carder, Gordon, Rucker and Weeden fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 19, while the other four were limited.
