St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher has abandoned his "Wide Nine" philosophy for defensive ends, which placed them outside the open shoulder of offensive tackles. Des Chris Long and Robert Quinn can line up more in the faces of ends, but each has the pass-rushing skills to get to the quarterback.

The starters are set among the defensive line for the St. Louis Rams, with DLs Chris Long at left end, Robert Quinn at right end and Michael Brockers and Kendall Langford at the tackle spots. The backups will be DLs William Hayes and Eugene Sims at the end positions, and Trevor Laws and Darell Scott at the tackle spots.

St. Louis Rams DE Robert Quinn was arrested earlier this month for driving while intoxicated. Quinn was pulled over July 10, and was charged with DWI as well as two other traffic offenses.
