Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur said he wants to keep OL Jason Pinkston at guard and not move him to tackle because he envisions Pinkston as a guard and wants him to develop at the position.

The Cleveland Browns were awarded OT Oniel Cousins off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens Tuesday, Aug. 30. The move was made by the Browns in case they have to place OG Eric Steinbach (back) on the Injured Reserve. Steinbach is dealing with a bulging disc in his back and may need surgery. OG Jason Pinkston has been working with the first team.
