Alabama TE Preston Dial (hernia) has been drawing a solid amount of interest from NFL teams as he continues to recover from a sports hernia, reports Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com. He has received the most attention from the Miami Dolphins, including head coach Tony Sparano and general manager Jeff Ireland. Other teams that have displayed interest in Dial includes: the Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks.

Alabama QB Greg McElroy (hand), TE Preston Dial (hernia) and WR Courtney A. Smith are set to work out for scouts at their school's Pro Day Tuesday, April 5, according to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora. McElroy requested that Smith attend the workout. The Miami Dolphins are among the teams looking at Smith.
