Redskins | Leonard Hankerson healthy

Thu, 30 May 2013 12:37:20 -0700

Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said WR Leonard Hankerson is fully healthy for the first time in his career. The team is expecting Hankerson to develop more this year.

Fantasy Tip: Hankerson showed improvements in his second year with Robert Griffin III entrenched at quarterback. Despite the increase in targets he saw, he'll likely be the third- or fourth-string wideout in Washington, making a deep sleeper or nice post-draft pick-up.

Redskins | Not much difference between Robert Griffin, Kirk Cousins?

Wed, 19 Dec 2012 07:58:40 -0800

Washington Redskins WR Leonard Hankerson said there is little difference between QBs Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins as far as guiding the offense. "I honestly don't think it was that much different at all because both of those guys are high energy guys, they both come in the huddle with a whole lot of confidence, they talk to us a lot and I think they pretty much come in the same way," Hankerson said. "Even though Kirk hasn't been a starter for the past 13 games, he always in practice, he always comes in with high intensity and he talks to us all the same like he has been the starter. Kirk, he's a guy that prepares hard each and every week like he is the starter and it obviously showed on Sunday."
