Washington Redskins DE Jarvis Jenkins (knee) has made "tremendous strides" in his recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament injury to his knee. Head coach Mike Shanahan is expecting Jenkins to make a "big difference" this season. DE Adam Carriker (quadriceps) is without a timetable to return to practice after having surgery to fix a torn quadriceps last September.
