Tampa Bay Buccaneers SS Ahmad Black will enter training camp looking to earn a starting spot. "I want to try to get a starting spot, but if not, then a significant role on the team," Black said. "I really just can't wait to get in there and do my thing." In order for Black to be a starter he will likely have to beat out one of SS Sean Jones or FS Cody Grimm.

University of Florida S Ahmad Black ran the 40-yard dash in 4.83 seconds and 4.85 seconds at his Pro Day Tuesday, March 15, reports Gil Brandt, of NFL.com. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.11 seconds and the three-cone drill 6.77 seconds. He measured a 36 1/2-inch vertical jump.
