Bills | Greg Salas expected to be slot WR

Sat, 03 Sep 2016 05:26:14 -0700

Buffalo Bills WR Greg Salas is expected to be the primary slot receiver for the team this season.

Fantasy Tip: Salas is the tallest receiver on the roster, so he should receive some work in the red zone this season. He probably will still see limited targets this season and probably can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

Bills | Greg Salas could return punts

Fri, 22 Jul 2016 18:52:46 -0700

Buffalo Bills WR Greg Salas is being looked at as a potential punt returner in addition to competing for the No. 3 receiver job, head coach Rex Ryan said.

Fantasy Tip: Salas' versatility should secure him a roster spot, but even if he wins the No. 3 receiver gig, his fantasy value will be limited in an offense that loves to run the ball.

Bills | Greg Salas may earn No. 3 WR job

Wed, 13 Jul 2016 15:16:00 -0700

Buffalo Bills WR Greg Salas is a strong candidate for the No. 3 wide receiver job because of his quickness, route running and hands. WRs Leonard Hankerson and Dezmin Lewis are also expected to compete for job during training camp.

Fantasy Tip: Salas played in the final game of the 2015 season and recorded three catches for 41 yards. He is a favorite of head coach Rex Ryan and wide receivers coach Sanjay Lal, which should help his chances. Salas will not be a strong fantasy option even if he wins the job because the Bills are more of a running team.

Bills | Coach high on Greg Salas

Sat, 28 May 2016 07:17:18 -0700

Buffalo Bills WR Greg Salas is a player the team expects to make another step in his progression and be a reliable part of the offense, according to wide receivers coach Sanjay Lal.

Fantasy Tip: It appears that Salas could be a candidate for the No. 3 receiver job, so owners should monitor the situation during training camp. He did record three catches for 41 yards in Week 17 in 2015 but did not see much playing time. Salas has a chance to be a late-round option in deeper leagues but probably can be avoided in most drafts.
