Cowboys | DeMarco Murray fully recovered from ankle injury

Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray (ankle) is back on the practice field and no longer slowed by the fractured right ankle that ended his rookie season in December. Murray said he feels great and is "100 percent" healthy. "I have been doing everything in the past month-and-a-half 100-percent-wise. No limitations. I'm feeling good out there," Murray said.

Running backs coach Skip Peete said Murray doesn't appear to be any slower than he did before the injury. "He's come back and he's in good shape and he's doing a good job. I don't see any ill effects of his ankle injury from this past season," Peete noted.

Updating a previous item, Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray (ankle) said he is ready for the 2012 season after a broken ankle injury kept him out of the final four games last season. "It's going great - just happy to be around the guys. I've been working out since the season ended so I'm excited to get things rolling a little bit. I'm definitely cleared and ready to go," Murray said.

Dallas Cowboys running backs coach Skip Peete said RB DeMarco Murray (ankle) looked good when working out during the team's minicamp last weekend. "He's good, we worked out last week," Peete said. "It was the first time we had an opportunity to go on the field with him. To me, he looks fine. He was running routes, he was doing all the drills, he's doing the workouts. At this point, he did everything we wanted him to do on the field. I know right now he can run and everything on it. Whether he can take a hit on it, I don't know."
