The St. Louis Rams plan to lean on WR Austin Pettis and Brian Quick more in 2013 with WRs Danny Amendola (Patriots) and Brandon Gibson (Dolphins) leaving via free agency.
Fantasy Tip: Pettis and Quick might be decent late-round fantasy additions on Draft Day, but right now they should be considered as nothing more than WR4 or 5 with some upside.

If impending free-agent WRs Danny Amendola (Rams) and Brandon Gibson (Rams) are not brought back, that would leave St. Louis Rams WRs Chris Givens, Austin Pettis and Brian Quick as the only wideouts under contract with the team in 2013. However, head coach Jeff Fisher doesn't sound concerned either way, noting the team could look for help outside the organization. "Not a concern whatsoever," Fisher said. "There's options out there. The free-agent market, there's options out there, and it's a great draft for a receiver this year."

St. Louis Rams WR Danny Amendola (shoulder) suffered a "shoulder separation where the collarbone meets the chest," according to a source who has spoken with the player. Amendola is expected to miss six to seven weeks, and he could return around Week 11 or 12. A combination of WRs Steve E. Smith and Austin Pettis is best suited to replace Amendola in the slot. The team is expected to keep Amendola on the active roster.

The St. Louis Rams added WR Austin Pettis to the 53-man roster Tuesday, Sept. 18, taking him off of the suspended list.
