Washington Redskins TE Niles Paul and WR Santana Moss each had touchdown receptions in the Week 12 win against the Dallas Cowboys Thursday, Nov. 22. Paul's 29-yard TD reception was his only catch of the day, and the first touchdown of his NFL career. Moss finished with four receptions and 42 yards.

TE Logan Paulsen was second on the team with four grabs and 43 yards, while TE Niles Paul had the biggest play of the game with a 37-yard grab on his only catch of the game.

In addition, he costs $6.23 million against this season's salary cap, which ranks third on the team. The team is already exploring other options, including TE Niles Paul, who is converting from wide receiver.

Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said he believes TE Niles Paul can be successful as a pass catching tight end because of his speed and physical play. Shanahan said he is not sure how Paul will block until the team is able to put on pads.

Washington Redskins TE Niles Paul said he believes his move from wide receiver to tight end this offseason has gone pretty smoothly. "I feel it's going as smoothly as it can," Paul said. "The passing game stuff is easy for me to pick up on because it's the same stuff I did as a wide receiver. It's just I'm getting more comfortable with coming out of a three-point stance and blocking."
