The Atlanta Braves reassigned Ps Julio Teheran, Arodys Vizcaino, Randall Delgado, Michael Broadway, Jay Sborz and Brett Oberholtzer; Cs Christian Bethancourt, Braeden Schlehuber and Jesus Sucre; IF Tyler Pastornicky and OF Mycal Jones to minor league camp Thursday, March 10, according to MLB.com's Mark Bowman. Ps Erik Cordier, Lee Hyde and Jose Ortegano were optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Atlanta Braves general manager Frank Wren said Thursday, Jan. 20, that OF Mycal Jones will play a lot of center field this season for Double-A Mississippi, reports David O'Brien, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "We're going to start transitioning him," Wren said. "He's played some second base in the instructional league. I think the next phase is to look at him some in center field, because he's a good athlete, he has explosive speed, and he's always hit."
