The Los Angeles Dodgers claimed OF Matt Angle off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles Thursday, Feb. 23, and are expected to place SP Rubby De La Rosa (elbow) on the 60-day disabled list to make room.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Rubby De La Rosa (elbow) is ecstatic about how he is feeling in his rehab from Tommy John surgery, and he said he will return "after the All-Star break." "It's unbelievable, perfect," said De La Rosa. "I'm going to be a lot better. No doubt I'll be 100 percent." He hasn't had any setbacks and has been throwing from 90 feet on flat ground.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Rubby De La Rosa (elbow) is healing on schedule and is throwing without pain from 60 feet. He is optimistic that he can return to the team sometime in late July. "Right now I feel more power than I did before, a lot stronger," De La Rosa said, rolling back his sleeve to reveal a six-inch scar. "Beautiful, huh?" De La Rosa could return to action as a reliever instead of a starter.

Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Dodgers SP Rubby De La Rosa (elbow) had an MRI reveal a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow and will undergo further evaluation to determine if surgery is required.
