Turner is receiving fewer chances to run the ball as the team spreads out the touches. He has had only 62.7 percent of the team's carries this year, by far his lowest total in each of his previous three years. Turner is only averaging 3.5 yards per carry, too, which is on pace for the worst mark of his career.

"Jacquizz did a good job when he was in there," Koetter said. "He touched the ball, but some of that could be luck of the draw. We'll see how it plays out. Touches on this team are always going to be an issue because we have so many good skill guys. One guy's increase in touches is going to come at the expense of another guy. Who is that? That's the million dollar question."
