Texans | J.J. Watt played hurt

Thu, 04 Apr 2013 05:13:05 -0700

Houston Texans DE J.J. Watt (elbow) revealed that he played through the entire 2012 season with multiple torn ligaments in his left elbow. He dislocated the elbow in the first week of practices in August. He said his elbow now feels great and that he hopes not to have to wear a brace again. "All the ligaments in there were torn, they were all gone, so they had to have time to recover and regroup," Watt said.

Fantasy Tip: Not bad for a guy that had 20 1/2 sacks and was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He also set a lineman record with 16 passes defensed.
