Houston Texans DE J.J. Watt (back) has head coach Bill O'Brien encouraged by Watt's progress from back surgery. However, O'Brien is still unsure about Watt's availability for the first two games of the season.
Fantasy Tip: Watt is the cream of the crop as far as defensive linemen go in fantasy, and it's not even close. If he continues to progress and avoids setback, he's still firmly atop the D-line perch in fantasy.

Houston Texans DE J.J. Watt (back) had back surgery recently, and although he is expected to begin camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list, he should be OK for the season.
Fantasy Tip: This seemingly has come out of nowhere, and it could cause Houston's defense to drop in the rankings if their star player shows any ill effects in the year ahead. If this becomes an issue that keeps Watt from playing to his full capacity, it would easily have significant ramifications on the defensive unit.
