Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot), who expects to play in the team's preseason game against the Houston Texans Saturday, Aug. 16, said he is feeling 100 percent healthy. Jones fractured his right foot Oct. 7 of last season. The Falcons plan to be cautious with him in the preseason, and he's likely to play just one series Saturday. Jones didn't play in last week's game and has been on a practice schedule of one day on and one day off.
Fantasy Tip: If Jones is completely healthy entering Week 1, he should have no problem reclaiming his role as the team's No. 1 receiver. You should be glad to have him as a WR1 if others in your league let him slip because of his injury last year.

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) expects to play in the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 16.
Fantasy Tip: Jones was developing into a top-tier wide receiver prior to suffering a broken foot last year, and while he continues to progress, it remains to be seen if he will still have the same big-play ability. While there are risks involved with picking Jones, there is also a chance you could end up with a WR1 for a WR2 price.

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) is not participating in practice Thursday, Aug. 14. Jones has been practicing every other day because of his foot injury.
Fantasy Tip: The team is being cautious with Jones so he is ready for the start of the regular season. Jones should be a starting wide receiver in every fantasy league.

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) was held out of the preseason opener Friday, Aug. 8, against the Miami Dolphins, as he continues to come back from a foot procedure which sidelined him for most of the 2013 season."I've still got to be smart about it because it is preseason. You don't want to rush anything and go out there and play a preseason game when it really doesn't matter, if something happens," Jones said. "We've just got to be cautious right now."

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) will be ready for the start of training camp, as expected, but will be limited.
Fantasy Tip: This is definitely good news for a top-tier fantasy wide receiver. Jones will likely take it easy throughout training camp and the preseason as he continues to heal. When healthy, Jones has top-five WR potential in standard leagues.

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) expects to be a full participant once training camp starts.
Tue, 17 Jun 2014 18:47:43 -0700
Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) was able to run routes during OTAs and has been walking normally as he continues his recovery from a broken right foot. Jones also said that the rehab process has made him stronger overall. "I feel great," Jones said. "I'm back doing the little things that I used to do. I'm back to the old Julio. I feel like I'm actually stronger now because I've been doing back squats; getting my quads stronger. Muscles in my hamstrings."
Fantasy Tip: While there is always a little added risk when drafting a player coming off of a serious injury, Jones' recovery appears to be on track. When healthy, he is a big-play weapon in Atlanta's pass-heavy offense, and he should still be considered a strong No. 2 fantasy WR at this point.
