Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green said he is not worried about a contract extension, because the team picked up his 2015 option. "I think I'm on the backburner just because of the option. That's fine with me," Green said. "I don't even look at it like that. I just go out there and play and my time will come. It's not surprising. Teams always want to wait. I'm fine with my option and my $10 million. I'll take it."

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green said he wants QB Andy Dalton to remain with the team for years to come. "We came in together and that is the great thing for me and him," Green said. "I know he's my guy. I don't want any other quarterback throwing me the ball. I think he feels the same way about me." Green said he has built a good chemistry with Dalton over the last several seasons.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton invited WR A.J. Green, WR Marvin Jones, WR Mohamed Sanu, WR Brandon Tate, WR Ryan Whalen and WR Cobi Hamilton to Dallas for a throwing session Monday, July 7. "It's just a chance to work on the little things before we get it going again," Dalton said. "Working on the routes, doing some of the things that need to get better."

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton and WR A.J. Green are the best quarterback-receiver duo in the league, according to offensive coordinator Hue Jackson. "I think both of these guys are in the prime of their careers," Jackson said. "I wouldn't change the two guys I have for anybody at this point because these guys know how to do it together."
Fantasy Tip: Green is one of the best receivers in the game and is a no-doubt WR1. However, until Dalton shakes off his consistency issues, he remains nothing more than a midrange backup QB.

Cincinnati Bengals beat writer Geoff Hobson believes Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson wants to have a more ball-possession offense that runs it more but sets up more explosive passes efficiently. That would mean fewer pass plays, but more potential big plays off of play-action.
Fantasy Tip: Giovani Bernard is going to have to prove that he can run the ball effectively 15-20 times in order for the play-action to work. Jeremy Hill will also be a factor in third-and-short situations that could free up A.J. Green and Marvin Jones downfield. Andy Dalton looks to be in optimal fantasy position this year in his contract year as a low-range QB1.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) has returned to organized team activities after tweaking his ankle last week. Green has looked to be in top form.
Wed, 28 May 2014 05:51:29 -0700
Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) sat out of organized team activities Tuesday, May 27, due to a tweaked ankle.
Fantasy Tip: It doesn't sound serious, and Green should be able to catch up in plenty of time.
Fri, 23 May 2014 11:43:37 -0700
Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson said the team needs more from the entire offense, including QB Andy Dalton and WR A.J. Green in 2014. "They've been good, now it's time to be great," Jackson said.
Fantasy Tip: Green is already one of the top wide receivers in football. If he can take it to another level, it would only help both his fantasy value and the value of Dalton. Still, it is reasonable to think there will be some growing pains as the team learns a new offense.
Thu, 22 May 2014 14:38:38 -0700
Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson wants to implement an up-tempo offense and intends to be heavily committed to the running game to set up the pass. Bengals OT Andrew Whitworth said the team is planning to get as many snaps in as they can.
Fantasy Tip: A more conservative offensive approach will improve the value of Cincy's running backs, with Giovani Bernard standing to have the best fantasy season. BenJarvus Green-Ellis shouldn't be written off just yet, since rookie Jeremy Hill having a fantasy-worthy role isn't a lock. Andy Dalton should become more efficient, but that isn't necessarily a good thing for fantasy value. Ultimately, WR A.J. Green remains the only weapon with consistent appeal.
Mon, 21 Apr 2014 12:23:21 -0700
Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green said he has added around six pounds this offseason, because he wants to be more physical as a way to beat coverage at the line of scrimmage. He said most of the weight was added to his upper body.
