Scott said he adjusted his offseason workouts to put more emphasis on his hips and core muscles. His bow was used in cross training to increase the strength in his shoulders. Scott is now weighing around 218 pounds, which is what he weighed when he was more productive for the Baltimore Orioles. He plans to be able to play first base and the outfield this season.
