St. Louis Cardinals 1B Lance Berkman is not on the Wild Card playoff roster. INF Ryan Jackson, OF Shane Robinson, OF Adron Chambers and C Bryan Anderson are on it.

The St. Louis Cardinals recalled SP Shelby Miller, OF Adron Chambers and INF Ryan Jackson from the minors Tuesday, Sept. 4. Miller was 5-1 with a 2.89 ERA in six starts with Triple-A Memphis.

St. Louis Cardinals OFs Shane Robinson and Adron Chambers will split time in center field with 2B Skip Schumaker (hamstring) on the disabled list. OF Carlos Beltran (knee) is unlikely to shift over from right field because he's dealt with knee soreness in recent weeks.

The St. Louis Cardinals recalled OF Adron Chambers from Triple-A Memphis Friday, May 18, to take the roster spot of OF Allen Craig (hamstring), who was put on the 15-day disabled list.

St. Louis Cardinals OF Jon Jay (shoulder), who was wearing a sling after the game Thursday, April 19, underwent X-rays on his right shoulder, which showed no structural damage. He's being listed as day-to-day, but he'll be re-evaluated Friday, April 20. OF Adron Chambers would likely be recalled if Jay is forced to the disabled list. OFs Skip Schumaker, Erik Komatsu or Shane Robinson can also play center field to keep OF Carlos Beltran in right field.

The St. Louis Cardinals signed 3B David Freese and 23 others to one-year deals for the 2012 season Wednesday, Feb. 29. The others included Bryan Anderson, Mitchell Boggs, Matt Carpenter, Adron Chambers, Maikel Cleto, Allen Craig, Tony Cruz, Daniel Descalso, Brandon Dickson, Chuck Fick, Sam Freeman, Tyler Greene, Mark Hamilton, Jon Jay, Erik Komatsu, Peter Kozma, Lance Lynn, Adam Ottavino, Adam Reifer, Shane Robinson, Marc Rzepczynski, Fernando Salas and Eduardo Sanchez. Financial terms were not disclosed.

St. Louis Cardinals OF Matt Holliday (finger) has been taken off the team's World Series roster after injuring his finger in Game 6 Thursday, Oct. 27. He will be replaced by OF Adron Chambers.

St. Louis Cardinals 2B Skip Schumaker (oblique) and SP Jake Westbrook will be added to the team's World Series roster. OF Adron Chambers and RP Kyle McClellan will be removed from the roster to make room. Schumaker will provide depth at second base and in the outfield.
