"I haven't experienced that yet," Darvish said. "As it comes and goes, I'll make the necessary adjustments as we go. There's no difference. I'm still pitching in those games normally."

Knowing that, I was able to use my fastball hard in and up in the zone to get some outs." He posted his fifth quality start in his last six outings versus the A's. Darvish mixed his pitches well and used his changeup more often than before.

He's given up three earned runs in 31 innings after allowing five runs in his first two innings.
