The Los Angeles Dodgers finalized deals with manager Don Mattingly and the rest of his coaching staff Monday, Nov. 11. Mattingly will return for his fourth season, as well as nine of his coaches. Tim Wallach will move from third base coach to bench coach. Lorenzo Bundy will take over the third base duties after managing Triple-A Albuquerque last year.

Mariners | Lloyd McClendon a managerial finalist

The Seattle Mariners have asked Detroit Tigers hitting coach Lloyd McClendon for a second interview for their vacant managerial position, according to sources, and he met with team officials Sunday, Nov. 3. Chip Hale is set for a second interview Monday, Nov. 4. The M's are also believed to be considering Tim Wallach and Joey Cora for the job, and Rick Renteria is also a finalist. Ron Wotus and Dave Valle aren't believed to have made it to the second round of interviews.

The Detroit Tigers interviewed San Diego Padres bench coach Rick Renteria for their vacant managerial position Thursday, Oct. 31. The Tigers have already interviewed Lloyd McClendon, Tim Wallach and Brad Ausmus and are expected to interview Boston Red Sox bench coach Torey Lovullo soon.

Los Angeles Dodgers third base coach Tim Wallach will interview for the Seattle Mariners' vacant managerial position, according to sources. Wallach has already interviewed for the manager's position with the Detroit Tigers this offseason. The M's have also looked at San Francisco Giants bench coach Ron Wotus, Oakland Athletics bench coach Chip Hale, San Diego Padres bench coach Rick Renteria and Detroit Tigers hitting coach Lloyd McClendon.

Wallach was the runner-up to Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell last season. Wallach has been the third base coach for the Dodgers for the past three seasons, and his 2014 contract was picked up.
