Giants | Alejandro De Aza out of Sunday lineup

Sun, 27 Sep 2015 11:13:47 -0700

San Francisco Giants OF Alejandro De Aza is not starting Sunday, Sept. 27, against the Oakland Athletics. OF Jarrett Parker is in left field and hitting seventh against Athletics SP Sean Nolin.

Fantasy Tip: This is the second day in a row De Aza ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) is sitting, both times because a lefty was on the hill for Oakland. Parker ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) is blazing at bat with a .462-5-10 line in the last week and the team may be looking at him as an option for 2016.

Athletics | Sean Nolin set for Sunday start

Fri, 04 Sep 2015 15:52:50 -0700

Oakland Athletics SP Sean Nolin is penciled in as the A's starter Sunday, Sept. 6.

Fantasy Tip: The left-handed Nolin will be a very cheap option on FantasyScore against the Seattle Mariners Sunday. He was 2-2 with a 2.66 ERA and 1.25 WHIP while striking out 7.2 hitters per nine innings at Class AAA Nashville this year, and even against a suspect Mariners offensive in a pitching-friendly environment, you'll want to avoid him for your daily lineups.
